Business support and advice in the Lewes District

Set up by Lewes District Council and delivered by Edeal (Eastbourne & District Enterprise Agency Ltd) LEAP (Local Enterprise & Apprenticeship Platform) is dedicated to championing new enterprise within the Lewes District; it supports local people through an intensive training programme to help them with their plans to start a new business. Not only do the LEAP delegates benefit from the intensive mentoring and support but the overall winner wins £2500 cash to help them get their business started.

Lewes District Council has invested more into its Local Enterprise & Apprenticeship Platform (LEAP) programme. Originally launched in 2013 to help entrepreneurs’ start-up a business, the service has expanded and now provides free business support and advice to all residents and businesses in the Lewes District to develop and grow their ideas and enterprises.

If you do not wish to register for LEAP but still want to attend a business start-up workshop, we are running FREE one day workshops on the following dates.

Dates for 2019

Workshops are a full day 10am to 4pm and focus on specific business start-up topics to give entrepreneurs the essential skills they need to set-up and grow a successful enterprise.
