Trained as an Agriculturist he was Farm Manager for the Coffee Research Foundation in Kenya for 7 years. Returned to UK joined I.C.I and worked in Marketing & Sales for 28 years. Became Director of the Chichester Enterprise Agency in 1993. A Trainer and Consultant he helped businesses in both the Start up phase and trading up to 10 years. Chairman of Sussex Enterprise Agencies Ltd for 2 years and Project Manager for Coastal Business Growth, Tom has been supporting start-up and SME’s businesses for over 15 years

Greatest Achievement
Assisting with many start up businesses who have been successful but 2 stand out. A graphic designer who in 1993 was continually being made redundant started up on his own with the help from our Agency, he now has 2 businesses, employs 40 people with turnovers of £4 million.
The Iron bed Company now sold as Leather & Fur, they started up in Chichester
