More Than Handy

More than Handy is a handyman service (plus much more!) and is based in Eastbourne. Warren Smith started the company in November 2006

The Challenges

Waren wanted to know about company law and the effect it would have on his business, He also wanted to know what other ares of business Edeal could help with.

The Support

A series of documents relating to company law were emailed to Warren. It was mentioned that mentoring programmes were available to assist companies with their development, so a series of mentoring sessions started soon after the business started. A wide range of help was introduced including the following:

• The production and implementation of a business plan
• Development of a marketing strategy to ensure the best return on the marketing investment

The Result

With Edeal's help, the company is now a limited business, employs four people and looking to recruit additional members of staff. Warren says, "It's great to have someone there to assist with any business chllenges I may have. I feel that my mentor has really helped me drive the business forward".
